ON THE ROAD WITH BAZZI

Well things certainly keep moving this year—before I had even come home from the Europe leg of BANKS’ Serpentina Tour, I signed on to tour with Bazzi on the supporting tour of his new album Infinite Dream. I wasn’t too familiar with Bazzi’s music beyond the hits when I first got called, but during the (rapid) learning of his music I became a fan of his undeniable writing capabilities and catchy melodies.

On this tour, which is now in its third week, I’ve been playing keyboards, guitar and bass. It’s a fast-paced set propelled by Bazzi’s natural and lively stage presence, and there really is never a dull moment on stage. I’m lucky to also share the stage with my one other bandmate, Johannes Gritschacher, who is easily one of the most musical drummers I’ve ever played with.

I’m looking forward to the last three shows of this tour (Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles), and closing out the last tour of 2022, a year which has been marked by new relationships, new experiences, travel, and of course the music that tied it all together!
