INABA/SALAS's sophomore album Maximum Huavo debuts at #1 in Japan!

Funk-rock supergroup INABA/SALAS (Koshi Inaba and Stevie Salas) has debuted at the top of Japan’s Billboard Hot Albums chart (week of April 21 2020)! It was a real pleasure being able to contribute to this album’s creation from the very first demo. I handled pre-programming and the majority of the keyboard parts (and even some synth bass and background vocals) that ended up on this unique album, and it was a great learning experience. It’s a shame the spring tour had to be postponed due to COVID-19, but it’s nice to see everyone’s been funking out in their houses to this album I had the great opportunity of contributing to.
